Mamajb~sorry been meaning to answer you. I found Jorge Cruise's "12 second sequence" book and dvd at the library and just bought the book online last night. It has more advanced moves than the dvd and I love the dvd. Before that I was doing "Cathe" abs video which kicks serious butt on the abs and the push up challenge which was awesome for the abs/arms, etc. Let me know what you go with, love to have a lifting buddy.

Hoping to find my way to the living today. Have to pick up my shoes, boil sugar syrup for the bees (which means buying sugar), pick up some lumber...and I'd like to do a small run to prep for Sunday. I am finding with all the injury, stress and illness that threatens that I am probably just going to have to figure out how to train smarter. Fewer miles, better miles.

geo, re the crying, I cried in a meeting one time when my internship committee (they were supposed to be support!) asked me how I was doing (terrible and depressed) and they recommended to the sem that I not be allowed to be a pastor. yeah, we can't cry. anyways...

Nic, I have a good friend in Brunswick. She is a Lutheran pastor too and really could use a friend or two outside her church, and she runs, so if you end up going there, lmk. and also I get down there every now and then! hope it smooths out for you all, I spent my childhood not knowing where we were going to move next and it was rough.

must go get some pinestraw....it is supposed to rain here but I need to go get it while i don't have kids with me (can't fit it in the car otherwise). also, inspired by italy, I'm finally going to get a clothesline for the porch. take care mamas!!!!

I don't know really, I just read somewhere that scobys tend to prefer to stay with the same form of sugar throughout but if you try the ecj and it doesn't like it I still have another one I can send.

Jo - Hope your tummy is okay. I made a video of my run yesterday for you but as you can imagine it's a little bouncy. It's kind of funny that way, it makes it look like I'm running faster than I am. Anyway, if I can edit it enough I may put it over at FB, we'll see.

I went for my swim this morning. It felt great, but it was tough. Gigi wasn't there to help share the lead and I did feel pushed...but then that might just be a good thing! I talked to the lady swimming behind me and she feels the push to keep going behind me, so we keep each other going that way. Whew! We swam about 1850 in an hour!

I was thinking about Geo on the drive home.
This may not be related.
My own opinion, which may not be worth much, is that we have to be true to being women, and be equally valued for our own innate ways. If we have to act like men to be equal, then is it really? That is my condensed rambling thoughts on the matter. I don't work right now, and I have never worked in a male dominated field, but anyway. I had a man tell me last year, regarding my education, that a "fat lot of good it did me, because all I did was stay home and look after kids". I need to let it go, but it still makes me SO MAD that people are so ridiculous!

Woo hoo it's Friday, it's a new month!!! I'm so ready for new things!

Just signed up for a 5K tomorrow. It is a fundraiser for the school and we are doing it as a family, so not sure that I will be "running" it per se. I really hope that it is not raining!

Okay, I'm not really here but I just logged my run from yesterday at mapmyrun and it says my average pace was 9:30!!!! That is far and away the fastest I've ever managed! Don't laugh!
