Oh nice I hope you enjoy/enjoyed your date night!

We have a 3 day weekend so we're loving it .. it's labour day here Monday. Yesterday we hit Ikea to get a trofast storage thingy for the boys toys, and today we have a picnic in the park with hubby's parents : Tomorrow I spose we should actually try to get some stuff done around HERE ... we have made little progress on organizing the stuff yet to get INTO the house from the garage.

I found a nice 3 tier corner unit that I think I'm going to pick up to move my official altar onto.. no idea why really, it just sorta said altar to me Not that I have altar issues or anything

Hello Mamas, I am looking for someone to chat with. Anyone around?
Welcome Shabbers! We're a chatty bunch- jump right in

Hi Batty! I'm glad you've made a new friend & I can just imagine Poppy walking- so cute!

I hope everyone is enjoying the weekend. I got lucky last night and had a few minutes to myself to celebrate.

Gotta go feed the kids!
DOK, that's quite alright hun I hope you're feeling better?

Red.. twould appear not! There's rarely anyone on at my wacky times

I had the most beautiful day today The kids were all lovely, of course we were off to a riverside park to have a picnic lunch with nanny & grandpa and their two cousins came as well. My hunny suggested I wear a pretty outfit I bought, but has hung in my closet unworn because it was 'too nice' to wear to do whatever... he said if I wait for the right occasion I'd never wear it, that it made me look & feel great so to wear it. I did... and he was right The weather cooperated wonderfully, and now we're sitting here with the window open listening to the crickets chirp the night away

AND I've got a quote on a ticket that is a great price (the guy said the prices at the moment haven't been this low since the late 80s )
cari-- i wear evening dresses barefoot in the mud :
and yes, doesn't it feel good?

yesterday...lovely Beltaine celebration, though loooooooong, and rainy. i didn't even bring the kids' activities out of the car. if it had been sunny and dry, i would have, because they could have sat on blankets or the ground (or in the basketball court that was right there in the park) but it was rainy and wet. there were 3 EZ-ups, but tiny tables within, and no seats. and even if they did paint rocks or make paper flowers, how to get them to their cars in the rain?
but it was fun. too long, though. i was utterly wiped when i got home.

today we are skipping church and just hanging quietly at home i'm going to watch a movie later, and we'll have an ice cream fest, and i'll make pizza, and back on the diet wagon tomorrow

Cari- sounds like a good weekend!

Lioness- thinking of you today

*yawns* can't wake up this morning

Morning All.

This morning started off kinda blah. I am in my refusing to have a bad mood mode right now. I am trying to manifest some things, just not sure how to go about it because my mind is all in a jumble.

DH is supposed to call today. I can't wait to hear his voice (outside of the build-a-bear puppy he made me), since its been over 2 weeks. I am hoping we get to talk for longer than 20 minutes.

It looks like its going to be a beautiful day outside today, although chilly. Not sure what all I am going to do for the day.
Right now it is cloudy and chilly. Yesterday was such a nice day. All I want to do right now is crawl under the covers and sleep this day away.

Howdy all! Welcome to Shabbers!

We went up north for the weekend with my 2 teen nieces, my mom, and DH, DD and I, and had a terrific time!! We went to a water park and had a ball. Ate too much!! Although we didn't officially dance any maypoles there was a fantastic fountain in the town that had big children figures dancing the maypole!!! :

It has been nice Today we spent the morning getting all the cardboard and packing crap piled into hubby's van to take to the dump/recycle centre. So the garage is nice & decluttered as is the computer room : While he did all that I did some cleaning and made us all poached eggs & bacon on toast for brunch :

Just saw your facebook... try not to jump to conclusions until you *know* what is going on, you'll work yourself into a stressed out frenzy. Easier said than done I know. *hug*

I have a pretty good idea, and I don't want to go into it on the thread.

Mamas, I need vibes, prayers, candles lit, etc, now more than ever.
Bella-oh my, of course I will pray for you. (you can pm me if you want- I have just come through some major Cra* with dh, don't know if I can help or not)

All 3 girls have colds and my allergies stink, plus Erin is teething. Keeping Gilli home from school today.

Morning mamas. I hope everyone had a fantastic weekend. I just saw a little thing about facebook, are we exchanging? If yes I would love to, but PM me, because I am under my real name.

This weekend was good. The hummingbirds are back! Today my kids are out of school because some might have the H1N1 virus?? So we are all just hanging out. Going to water the garden. Have a good day.

Heyla all! Happy May!

Looks like things are going to stay crazy around here for a while, but we're pulling through.

Spring vibes and blessings to those in need, smiles for those with a reason to giggle and glow!
I thought I posted yesterday but I guess it didn't go through.

We totally flaked on Beltaine. We made nettle soup and I talked about it with my oldest dd a little, but it totally snuck up on me. My 1 yo has been really sick, so my mind was preoccupied.

I finally pulled out my Inner Temple book to work on again after it being in my closet for awhile. Hopefully I get some time to meditate!

We are house hunting again, too. Does anyone have any good resources for manifesting a good house? I found a spell in an Ellen Dugan book for the house you know you want if you've found it. But I can't find one to do it on!

And does anyone have any good online sources for a fairly inexpensive goddess necklace? I have been looking for one for ages but our computer died and I don't have any bookmarked on this new computer.

I squeak when I walk.
tee hee. I finally got in to the see a podiatrist. He said either I have a torn ligament or there could be a fracture. Those things don't tend to show up on regular xrays (where my injury is). So, he put me in a cast boot and I go for an MRI in the morning.

My foot is killing me after he poked around. Owie!

yay for may!

it took me awhile to find the new thread. lol.

i havent been on the computer since apr 30th. so much to catch up on.

the day went great. Dh looked great in his suit and i felt Beautiful. when my uncle gets the pics to me i will post them. i forgot to give someone my camera. . my uncel showed up to surprise me. apparently he has been doing professional wedding pics and music. he usually charges $600, but did it for me for free. he will send me the disc with the pics for me to print. he even did a video! so nice.

everyone did a great job esp my MIL. she ran things for me and it was great! she is getting the best mothers day present evah!

the weather turned out great. it turned sunny and warm. we had a fire in the fireplace and we got married in front if it. it was a short ceremony. to the point just like we like it. DH cried. he wiped his eyes once duuring the ceremony and then after we walked back down the aisle and out of view he had to step behind a pole to compose himself. i will never forget that. that was so sweet.

my aunt surprised me before the wedding. i was getting out of the van in my dress when she started crying and gave me my dead grandmothers bloodstone necklace. she had no idea how bad i wanted the bloodstone from my grandmother. i never got anything after she died. i wasnt upset i didnt get anything but this was great! i wear it everyday. except today. i got a sunburn yesterday.

my dad got a little teary too. my mom choked up. i even got an inappropriate hug from DH's best friend .

all in all it was a great day. DH was talking about not wearing his ring to work. he is afraid it will get ruined. he is a carpenter. but he wore it today anyway. i told him i didnt care. it is not the ring that makes us married.

i cant wait to show you some pics. even my girls got to wear pretty dresses. now i can concentrate on being pregnant. i am 16.5 weeks. 17 on wed. i cant wait to find out in 3 weeks if it is a boy or girl. i am going to use the money we got to buy baby stuff and maternity clothes.

yay for Jon getting better. that is great news. i saw that on the other thread before i realized there was a new one for may. going back to work already.. what progress he has made!

I always check etsy-best site IMO for pretty much anything.

Here's some I found in a variety of prices/styles:

$7 Clay with Leaf
$9 Silver Triple Moon
$12 Purple Choker
$14 White Glass
$15 Glass Beads
$20 Wood and Turquoise
$20 Silver with Amber colored beads

Yeah, so I know there are lots of links, but I waste many days on etsy. So, there are some pendants starting at $2 and some very expensive, really nice stuff. Also, there are many that are more in the Venus of Willendorf style that are pretty.

DOK Sorry about your foot-that is a really weird ailment, though!

Lioness, I am so glad your wedding went well. I know how stressful the days leading up to are, but it's amazing how that melts away when you get caught up in everything!

Happy Monday, everyone!

Thanks! It's actually a very common problem/injury. It happens all the time in people who walk a lot.
