Very likely have a boy's name picked out. My DH's grandfather had a name that gives me all sorts of warm fuzzies (shared with a fave literary character) with DH's first name as middle name. My only reluctance is the name is really formal and may seem a bit stuffy for a baby/boy. We could do first and middle initials as a nickname, though... (The name doesn't really have any nicknames.)
No flipping clue on a girl's name. Well, actually there's a name I love but DH always makes fun of it so I don't think it would swing. I'm going to try to not worry about it now, plenty of time for that later. (Although interestingly enough I had my son's name picked out before he was conceived and never could decide on a girl name. Maybe it's an omen that I'll have another boy.

Gosh not yet! It took us AGES to come up with Josie's name. I do want to put "Opus" in there somewhere though - in short, it means "greatest work" and while Josie I also feel was my "Opus", this is my rainbow baby and if everything turns out well, and we get to welcome this life into our home in January, I want he or she to feel unique in a different way. For us I think the choosing of names after the loss will have to be especially symbolic, and not just "that's a nice name!"
So yeah....I think in a few weeks I will be choosing more. Still now, since I found out two days ago, I am in utter bewilderment and almost shock over it. I constantly feel like the line is going to go away, like I have jinxed myself lol! It's illogical but I think it has to do with the fact that I lost Josie and I'm just sitting here thinking "Oh c'mon, do you really think you could get this lucky - surely something is going to go wrong!"
Again, illogical but eh, it's all psychological BS right now
It'll be fine!
*HUGE hugs* - sorry for diverging your thread there!

We have a boy's first name picked out. It's a family name and we really don't have much chioce.... But as for the middle name, that is hotly debated and has been since before we were married. We've got a girl's first name that once we threw a few around just seemed right, but that one isn't set in stone.

I've had a girl's name picked out since the last pregnancy. Margaret (maggie!) Rose. Margaret for DH mother, and Rose for my best friend, Jill Rose who died March 15, 2008. And I have to say, I love the name Maggie bc of The Simpson's
A boy's name is harder. I really want Judah or Jonah. My DH is not into those names at all.

We haven't thought about names at all. We picked the name for my dd early and told everyone and then I wanted to change the spelling but felt like I couldn't...so we left it.
Of course I love it now, but for that reason I'm not commiting to anything!

I love/hate picking out names. It's just so hard to find them! Boys names in particular are next to impossible for us. Mamas: stop stealing the boy-ish names for your girls!
I'm kidding mostly, but it's one of those things that makes me crazy - there are so few good boys names already!
We could only agree on one boy name for DS, so I don't know WHAT we will do if it's another boy! We had a few girl names we may dust off, but I'm not sure yet...We plan on finding out the sex when the u/s time comes, so we'll start in earnest when we know which we have to concentrate on!

Yes - I have names picked out. Kathy - we're doing Margaret Rose if it's a girl too! Noah Augustine if it's a boy. We've had Noah as a possible boy name for about four or five kids now, LOL. I really wanted Margaret last time but it was dh's turn to pick. I think we're going to add a third name this time as well. A few of our kids have two middle names and I'm thinking about doing that again.

Also, Noah is a pretty good name; I like it almost as much as Judah. I wonder if DH would accept that name. It's weird how we are both drawn to similar/the same names.

Welllll... *I* have a name picked out, but DH doesn't know about it yet! LOL
We had such a hard time coming up with DS1's name (Lucas) that I don't know WHAT we'll do if this LO is #2 is a boy!
If it's a girl, I think we'll go with Ava or Noelle (depending on how close to Christmas it is!)
For a boy, I LoOoOove Avery (but aparently that's a 'girls' name according to DH) and after Avery I would probably go with Julian or Noah.
And, I totally had all these names in my head since being pregnant with DS
