how do you get local quotes for articles? HELP!

I need local quotes in Queens and Long Island for an article on cheap and simple kid birthday parties and I'm lost. It doesn't help that I have no Internet access at home during the week! Facebook didn't work. Guess I could call a local child psych and ask his/her opinion?! Not sure where to go.

You could ask parents for their suggestions/thoughts or contact places directly that deal in kids parties in the area and speak to the managers. This sounds like a time where you need to do some interviewing.

Just saw that you are not local to the area, go to the library and see if you can find phone books for that area as far as kids birthday parties. I know some libraries do have phone books for other states. HTH.

I'd find the local Meetup, Yahoo! groups and whatever else I could think of. Contact the list owner and ask them to pose the question to the list and email you their answers directly.

I'd suggest just going to the park on weekends and looking for a birthday party in progress, but are you in Kansas?
