I have had 2 medically UNnecessary csections. After finally researching alot I regret the one that was my control so much. Now, I have just found out I am pregnant again, and while researching my options, I have found that it seems NO ONE in the whole city of Berlin will do one. I feel like I am being forced into a csection when I dont even want to have the baby born in a hospital at all!! I have no idea what to do!!

This book feels good in your hands. The paper is heavyweight, and the illustrations flow perfectly.

Hello & congratulations on your pregnancy!
It's been years since I lived there, and I don't even know if ICAN has anything in Berlin, but since it's international, maybe it's worth searching for some contacts over there who can give you support.
What I wanted to offer, though, is really just some support and something to think about - No one can say now how your birth is going to go. Obviously, some of your care providers want it to be all planned out as a c/s. Maybe you could go the non-confrontational route, go to your prenatals, and just be non-committal about anything like setting a date for a c/s. When you go into labor, stay at home for as long as you feel comfortable. At least one of my babies was simply too far along for a c/s once I reached the hospital. That was really only possible because I had a doula to help me stay focused on labor. Maybe you can find a doula or midwife who will at least stay with you out of the hospital for as long as possible.
Just my 2 cents. I hope your pregnancy goes really well and that this one aspect does not overshadow it!

Congratulations from me, too!
I am a German native, and I had only homebirths (2 of them in the U. S.).
Have you tried the Berlin yellow pages for midwives ("Hebamme(n)" in German)? Maybe you can find someone who is willing to try for a VBAC or the "non-confrontational route" suggested by the pp. Most German women will have their prenatals with an OB / GYN but midmives do have the permission for pre-, peri-, and postnatal care. (You can also do both, seeing a midwife doesn't exclude medical checks at a doctor's office.)
You could also try to get some info on www.geburtskanal.de or www.rabeneltern.de if your German is fluent enough.
Good luck!

sorry for the delay in writing back.. I didnt get an email saying that I had replies.. so I never checked back until now.. I do apologise.
I have called every midwife listed in the Hebamme Berlin book, that had english listed as a language.. not one single one would agree for a homebirth, what I really wanted. Then I started calling birthhaus, thinking that was an option, but again, none wil do a vba2c.. I was told to call the most "alternative" hospital to see if they would allow it.. I was told it was not something that really do, however, if I want to wait until November (I am due in dec!) that I can come in for a talk then to discuss it.. but there isnt a high chance of it..
I really do not want to have the baby in a hospital. I had a very traumatic birth with my 1st child, due to many wrong doings of my midwife.. my 2nd was by choice, due to the ptsd from the first. I have been going to a therapist to help with the trauma.. but feel if I was in a hospital the trauma would resurface and cause problems with my labor.
I dont think my dh would ever allow me to stay at home with out a midwife here while I was in labor.. he would freak out he might have to deliver a baby..
Martina- if you could check around, that would be great.. I appreciate it!!
and thank you for all the congratulations..
Nikki
