Could something be worong with our puppy?

SO ever since we got our aussie/lab pup, i have noticed something funny about his back legs. They dont seem to be right.

I pointed it out to DH when we first got him, but DH thought i was just being crazy. Then the pup and my older dog got into a bit of a scruff and he was yellping, and was having a hard time walking with his back legs and even fell down a few times. (no blood or bite marks, my older dog is not mean she is just dominate and is more bark than bite and a wippet mix, so she is only 25lbs). He has had a hard time running, and when he is walking he walks with a gate. I cant really describe it.

Could it be hip dysplasia this early? He is only 4 months old

i would definitely take him to your vet. That is the only way to know for sure... especially, if he is in pain.
I think they can show signs of hip dysplasia this early and that alone is very painful.
Hope your puppy turns out ok.

Is he "bunny-hopping"? This is the only way I can describe it... the gait of a dysplastic dog is very easy to spot. Is his rear end narrow looking? It's easy for someone who knows what they are doing to see... your vet should be able to tell, and will probably take x-rays.

And yes, it is very possible that he is dysplastic, and yes, it would show up at this age.

The other thing it COULD be is pano, but I doubt it.
