(not sure where to put this )

How long are they good for once you boil them? Not peeled that is.

In the fridge, usually 2 weeks would be the max I was comfortable with (assuming the shell was intact). Not in the fridge, 2 days (intact shell).

Super baby food states they are good for 7 days in fridge after boiling

I wouldn't eat them past a week refrigerated.
Overnight unrefrigerated - but I'm on the uptight side I think!

Thanks! I had no idea what time frame to look at. LOL I get nervous after a week, but feel bad throwing them out just incase. So they sit for a month and I throw them out. LOL
I'll have to start dating them and then work on using them up!

I guess I've never found out, because when we boil a dozen, they are usually gone within a couple of days. They are my kids favorite breakfast, snack and lunch item.

They can go bad after a week, or they can stay good for 2 weeks. Week old eggs don't taste as good as freshly boiled eggs, but they're still safe to eat.

If in doubt, smell them. Trust me- your nose will tell you if the eggs are bad!

I smell them and if they smell okay then I'll try them. If they taste okay and aren't too rubbery I'll eat them. None of us have gotten sick with this method yet. . .however, I'm pretty sure we haven't had any in the fridge over 2 weeks
