I also have a 2.5 year old that is still nursing. With all of the cramping I am having, I really don't want to even think about nursing! But, she is not ready to quit anytime soon.
My 15 mo old still nurses frequently (nak in fact) and we have no plans to stop. I am sad that she might wean before she's 2, that was my goal, so I am worried about her weaning . I get the nipple pain during O so I think I can handle it .
OMG, she just started drinking out of her sippy on her own for the first time!! :
I'm nursing my 2.5 year old, but I'm really hoping he self weans when my supply dips. He's showing signs of trying to self wean--trying to fall asleep "on his own" aka cuddling with me instead of nursing, his idea (but almost always ends up nursing to sleep at the end still, maybe once every two weeks he'll fall asleep without nursing).
And I'm not sore either. I expected to be, but I'm not really.
i'm tandem nursing a 3.5 y/o and an 18 m/o. if ds1 weans during pg, i'll be okay with it, but based on his nursing habits, i'm not holding my breath, lol. i'm committed to clw, so i won't be pushing him to stop.
Mine is 18 months old. I am having a hard time though, sore nipples and low supply, she spends 3 hours nursing to get to sleep, which since I am already low-energy, is killing me. I don't see her weaning on her own though. But it's giving me creepy feelings in my calves.
Nursing my 2 1/2 yo DS still. 6 1/2 weeks pg and just got tender nips the last 2 days - OUCH! Once he's latched its not too bad. He would nurse 24/7 if he could, so I'll be surprised if he weans, but you never know. His choice though
