Mucus plug? Updated

I never lost mine with DD, at least I don't remember it and I didn't see it. I've had some yellow goo the past week on the TP, but not a lot. Well, I just took a shower and decided to check, cervix has moved down a lot since the other day, VERY soft, and definitely dilated (I just don't know how much). Right after that I lost a GIANT glob of opaque "goo". Now I just lost another glob of it when I went to the bathroom.

Does this sound like my mucus plug? We haven't DTD or anything, so it definitely not that, lol.

Sounds like it!! Mine fell out right before I started pushing I had been on the toilet and when I stood up this big blob of bloody goo fell out on the floor. My midwife said that it was the biggest mucus plug that she had ever seen!!

It sounds like it could be.

With my first, it came out in two fist sized chunks. I never noticed it with my second, so it must have came out gradually.

Something is going on....

Lets just say my digestive system cleared its self out last night before bed. Woke today at 5am to pretty consistent period like cramps, about 15 minutes apart. No active labor yet. I haven't called my doula yet, I want to see if they peter out again or start getting stronger, longer, more frequent etc. Than I'll give her a heads up.

Yesterday sucked big time, no baby yet, and I'm very frustrated. I had on and off contractions all day long but they never took off. Took a hot bath last night because of the pain and they finally eased up and I was able to sleep last night after being up since 5 am with the contractions.

So far today nothing major thank goodness. I can't deal with another day like that with no progress.

Liz this is what was happening to me yesterday as well. I think I went to the bathroom like 8 times. Ugh, talk about a sore behind. and boy was I having contractions.
I'm contracting again today and more intense but nothing that I'm timing. I have not called my MW yet. (I see her tomorrow for a check up)

I have been losing bits of my mucus plug all week.
