for those of you who make your own wipe solution

Up until now, we have just used plain water. Each folded diaper has a washcloth in it and when we need to change we just wet it with warm water in the sink. Well right now, 14 month old DS has a horrible diaper rash. The skin is actually borken in some places. We have been doing nekkie time and using either california baby diaper cream or mother love diaper rash/thrush ointment. I have also mixed up a TTO/water solution that I have in a spray bottle and I squirt it on.... but I'm wondering if there's a better way? So exactly (step by step please) how do you prepare and use your wipes solution. I need something pretty easy and convenient.

My wipes solution is actually water with maybe a teaspoon of baby wash (Burt's bees) in a spray bottle. I have a basket of facecloths next to the spray bottle and that's what I do at each diaper change. I think it's pretty simple. For out and about, I have a travel spray bottle in my bag.

My wipes solution is water with a couple drops of almond oil and a couple drops of Dr. Bronner's Baby Mild. I keep it in the squirt bottle that the hospital gave me following birth (that you use while going to the bathroom the first few days). Works like a charm!
