Living Off the Grid: Interviews sought

Hello Ladies -

I am a freelance writer seeking families and/or individuals who have made the transition or are in the process of living a completely self-sustaining lifestyle. This means they use a generator for electricity, sew their own clothes (or at least buy them thrift), produce their own food, etc. (some exceptions, of course, are considered.)

I would like to interview them in person, so I prefer that they live no more than four hours away from my home in Harpers Ferry, WV. Virginia, Maryland, D.C., Jersey, Pennsylvania are all considerations.

Thanks so much for any leads you can provide.

I live 'off the grid' after a fashion but I don't live in the specific region you're seeking (I'm in Australia). Just bumping this for you in case someone notices this thread for the first time.

Thanks kindly. Here's hoping for more domestic bites on this thread.

Try posting in Country Living/Off the Grid, any of these that feel right or in the Finding Your Tribe section.

Good luck!
