New to slinging- good resource?

Hi,

I just bought a solarveil ring sling to use with the new baby, due in about a month. I used one for a few days with DS, but he never liked it and I never go the hang of it so I returned it. I'd like to try to make it work this time and have simple instructions, but was wondering if anyone has a really good online video or picture resource of how to use a ring sling with a newborn (under 3 months), especially since this baby will be born right at the beginning of the summer and I really want to be able to use the solarveil so we can hopefully be a little more mobile during these hot, sunny months!

If anyone has any other tips, that would be great, too! Last time I gave up and used the Bjorn until we go the Ergo.

My best advice is to visit thebabywearer.com

It has tons of resources and any possible question you have will get answered. A lot of the moms on that site really know their stuff and many of them have made instructional youtube videos. So you might want to search there too.

The zolowear website also has really good pictorial and video instructions for ring sling wearing.
