I'm due today.
It feels weird to say that...I kind of guessed I'd go overdue this time, call it intuition. I'm not even that impatient to get things going, I feel like things will happen when they do.
But I haven't had any real contractions since Wednesday or any other indications that labor might be on its way. Anyone else in this boat?
I'm also wondering what to do with my prenatal appointments at this point. After last week's fiasco my first instinct is to stay as far away from the office as possible.
I didn't even think to discuss it with them before, but I don't know if the mw's or docs are going to want to start automatically doing NSTs and AFI's and all that other crap on me just because my due date is passed. The baby shows every indication of being just splendid - good heartbeat, great movements, all that stuff. My AFI was great on Tuesday (because they insisted on doing one) and I highly doubt it's changed in the last week.
Anyone else dealing with this? Does your HCP automatically want to do testing once you've passed your EDD?
Maybe this LO just wants to be a full-moon baby.
With so many ladies having babies early (hurray!!!), I just wanted to see if anyone else has waved hi and goodbye to their EDD and is still not holding a newborn.
