itunes

I recently heard of a singer, Kalan Porter, who won Canadian Idol a few years ago and have been listening to his music on youtube. I was just curious about him so I tried looking him up on itunes and he isn't there? Does itunes only support American singers?

Nope, iTunes has all kinds of music on it.

If he's not on iTunes, that means his label hasn't negotiated a deal on there. Maybe he's not popular enough?

Honestly, it's not that hard to have your music sold on iTunes if it's halfway popular at all. I don't think having a label is a requirement, but I think it's a big help.

There's also different iTunes stores for every country, so maybe he's on the Canadian one but not the US.... because he's not popular enough here.
