Playtex Hip Hammock

Does anyone have one?

My mother made me a sling which according to measurements should have fit but when I put it on it won't go over my breasts. So I found the Hip Hammock at Toys R Us. It was cheap and on sale. Its not the carrier I want but I don't have $50 right now to buy the one I want. Does anyone have one? Do they still like it? So far after 8 uses DD loves it and falls asleep easily and is able to nurse in it.

I just read the plus size babywearing and looked at the site sleepingbaby.net! Thankyou! These are affordable and what I am looking for.

I used one several times when DS was about 9 months old. I bought it off Craigslist for about $5. It's great for quickie errands but he grew too heavy for it pretty fast. It can be hard on the shoulder.

I have this one and agree withnthe last poster. Since my other carrier is a wrap, this one is a cinch to put on for a very quick run to the store, but hurts the shoulder after just a couple minutes with my 1yo.
Not practical for longer carries.
