Still a little while before I can contribute too, but I have to ask... What would those of us who're going to be given IV abx for GBS put? Unmedicated?

That's what I was thinking too, but I've been wrong about things I thought were "obvious" before, so I figured it wouldn't hurt to ask.

I didn't pick anything for the ob/midwife options, cause I had an OB, he just didn't show up till River was about 2 minutes old...and they couldn't find a resident either...so it was just the nurse who had never delivered a baby and me (I actually did deliver Travis for similar reasons, so I at least had some experience). Ohh, and I didn't choose pitocin, but I got it after River was born due to excessive bleeding. I guess there was a LOT of bleeding, and the nurse was actually squeezing the pitocin in faster, and the ob had ordered cytotec (sp?) but I didn't end up needing that...I was pretty unaware of all of this though my dh claims it was all said out loud to me...new baby took all my attention I guess.

PLanned home birth turned hospital transfer turned unplanned c/s with an ob and my midwives. I had a spinal and GA.

Here's mine, but I feel like I need to explain. I chose pitocin induction, BUT I wasn't technically induced. My water broke on its own. Labor never started though so we had to use pit to make my labor go.

Planned home water birth with midwives. I forgot to check vaginal. And the midwife was kinda there for backup and dh assurance. I delivered her myself.

Wow, only on MDC do you see great stats like this! Only 15% cesarean rate, 50% homebirths, 65% midwife care, 70% free of pain meds. Beautiful! Isn't this just in line with what the WHO is calling for?

The funny thing is, out of 56 voters, there were 36 vaginal and 10 c/s. How did the other 10 come out?
