zinc supplement- what brand/kind?

Before I knew much about SA, I ran out and bought any type that fit the description- then I find out that it is made of (probably GMO) corn. Then, after I had DS, I read that a lot of prenatal vitamins have lead in them.. so now, I'm onto ZINC. Anything to watch out for? How do I get the best type?

Many of our supps are made by Thorne, good company without scary fillers, they make both a zinc citrate and a zinc picolinate. I'm switching us to the picolinate to see if it works better, I've read mixed things but in general I'm gathering that picolinate may tend to be better absorbed (though if someone finds a different form that works better for them, they should clearly use that).

I wouldn't get an oxide.
