Hugs to you, mama. But like others have said, don't beat yourself up over this. What's done is done and when you know better you do better. But please share your story with other people, especially pregnant or childless friends and family. Too many people say/think that circs only take a few seconds and that babies sleep right through the circ. Too many pro-circ fanatics say us intactivist lie about the screaming and how long the procedure takes to "push" our "agenda" (the agenda being to spare babies unnecessary surgery). People will believe your story, especially since you witnessed it first hand. I'm so sorry for your son and like someone said, many circed boys grow up to be healthy men with satisfying sex lives. But while you can't change what happened with your son, you might very well save other boys from being circumcised.
