I'm worried our baby hates cloth.

I wonder if I've spoiled our new baby.

We were using cloth successfully with no issues, then went on a large family vacation where we didn't have laundry access and we used disposibles.

Now, it was about two weeks on disposibles and we're back amd baby seems to be VERY fussy in cloth. And, I'm changing them quite frequently as well.

I keep on wondering if it's my imagination, but I actually ran out of cloth the other day, and DH put him in disposibles and he was not fussy at all. Slept perfect and I finally got some stuff done around here during the day.

Please let me know if there is something else that might be causing it. I honestly can't think! This is a new one for me. I've done cloth with all my kids, so I thought I saw everything.

The disposibles are horrible too...he poops out of them every day.

They are thick prefolds fastened with pins and pull on covers. He's a big nurser, and he's wetting a lot. Can't seem to handle any wetness, and he urinates so often!

I'd try switching him to a different cloth before giving up. Maybe since he doesn't like the wet, try a pocket with a fleece inside? It'll hold the moisture away from his skin, but it's not a sposie.

I'd try using a fleece liner. It will wick moisture away and make dealing with poop TONS easier.

I agree with trying some sort of stay dry liner before giving up. He may just prefer the dry feeling. Also he may prefer the fit of a trimmer pocket as opposed to prefolds. You could try just one or two pockets just to see if it is a comfort/fit issue as opposed to preferring disposables.
