anyone else cranky?

I'm cranky. Don't like it, but I am.

I know it is hormones & fatigue, but I still don't like it, and DH likes it even less

Anyone else?

Any ideas how to get out of the funk?

we are still adjusting to the idea of a third in quick succession, particularly after all my health 'stuff'. Hopefully we will reach a new level of peace &contentment SOON

cheers
charlene

I am not cranky yet, but a little more vulnerable... Luckily DH is catching on and babying me more.

I've been fairly cranky, but I know I'm a bit on edge right now, so I can control my actual responses to people at least reasonably well...

I had a moment of crankiness with DS yesterday, which I was instantly sorry for. He just asked me what was for dinner, and I was butt-dragging-hadn't-left-school-'til-almost-5:00-and-wanted-a-nap-at-noon. I snapped, "Food!" at him. Gotta try to work on that. *sigh*

I did over-react to DH not making coffee one morning, too. I was near tears feeling all the world's injustices upon me. I'd made dinner the night before. I cleaned up dinner the night before. I did a load of laundry the night before. I folded and put away laundry the night before. And before I crawled into bed as he was watching a basketball game I said, "Please make the coffee." Woe! I realized I was being a hormonal nut job on that one, too, and thankfully no one was around to suffer from my reactions (DH was at work and DS was not awake yet).

I am right there with you.

Although my crankiness has everything to do with the fact that we are painting our guest bedroom so nothing is in the right place. I am a VERY clean person and need organization. If I don't have that, I freak out!

cranky is a nice way of putting it :P I feel like I have no fuse and just go immediately to pissed off. It's been hard being home with my son, my patience bank has been cleared out. I've been trying to take it easy and not stress the little stuff, but I seriously felt like my life had ended when I came across a mess where he'd dumped out his puzzles. Talk about crying over spilled milk! oy. DH has been irritating me too but I don't think he's aware of it. He's been working a lot lately and I know that doesn't help, but he has a week of vacation coming up and I can't WAIT for the extra help!

EXACTLY!

I know I'm not being nice, but I seem powerless to stop myself.

only in the afternoon when my nap gets interrupted.....which is every day.......

Yes! Me, too. Definitely cranky and snapping at everyone...

It's funny, though, (funny weird) because I clearly remember being in the best mood for months with my first. The second and third are just a blur, so maybe I was a bear with them, too.

Amazingly I have been the least cranky (so far!) than in all my other pregnancies. I feel very peaceful about the whole thing. Not to say I am never cranky, because if I don't get my sleep I'm barely functional, but in comparison.

I think putting real effort into being thankful for everything I have has always been helpful, it's getting the motivation to step out of my cranky box and do the thankfulness exercise that's tough.

super cranky here. blah

Well, I am more "not going to have that!" - less patient I suppose. Less patient about messes. Since I don't have time to clean them right now because of my insane working hours (which are coming to an end, along with my crazy job, in a week and a half - hurrah!) I don't have time for people who leave them all over the place

But as I said, in ten days I get to be mom at home and work from home., so that will mean I have commpplleeeete controoool over the household with my steely arms and my diabolically fastidious brain. Which will be just peachy, thank you very much

So yeah anyway I suppose others have called me "hormonal" in the last week.

I can definitely feel the hormone shift. I have cranky moments and cry even quicker than usual.

I am right there with you Josie - its my lack of patience that is getting to me. And it doesn't help that Alice entered the threes early - with the whinning and the fits.. or maybe its the twos late lol

I try to just keep both of us active. Having projects and things to do has helped a ton. Its nice now thats is warm outside. Being full blown pregnant in winter is going to be interesting..

I went to Target today to buy a new bra. I brought three in the dressing room and of course the one that fit had no price tag on it. I didn't know this 'til I was checking out.

The clerk told me she thought it was $12.99. I told her I thought it was $9.99. She said if I was wrong I could go to customer service and get reimbursed. Holy hell, instead of looking up the price and doing things properly?! So I went and checked another bra after paying and it was indeed $9.99. Dear lord did I complain to the customer service. Her reaction? "What happened?" You've got to be kidding me!!!

I think a letter will be in store, all I wanted was a bra for my freaking massive (for me) boobs, not an opportunity to run around the store and plead my case for a piddly $3!
