The cranky bra-purchasing episode may have an upside. Wearinga bra that fits makes me feel so much more comfortable that my overall crankiness may go down slightly during the day.

I think I'll have to give in and buy a new bra (or bras) soon--I put on one of my regular bras the other day, and it was looking like an absurd tiny bikini top on me... For now, the tank tops with just the elastic shelf and my "heavy" bras (the bras I got when I was 30 pounds heavier than now) are working well...

Oh, and my pants... I'm wearing the larger pants for the waist, but the rest of me, like, oh, my rear, are still normal, so the fit is rather silly looking, I think... But once it's warmer, I can just get out my loose dresses for most of the summer...

Yeah, having clothes-that-fit would make me less cranky.

Amen, sister! I'm doing the exact same thing, wearing my old "fat" pants which have hips and rears and thighs that are too big but the waist fits. I had on a pair of jeans like that last night and DH gave me a funny look and asked, "Are those new?" I could tell he didn't like the way they fit by his tone. I laughed and told him they were the opposite, fat pants. Then he laughed.

Summer weather cannot get here soon enough, my wardrobe and crankiness demands it!

Yes, the ill fitting clothes definitely do NOT help!

...and I think that, for myself, the anxiety of the early weeks doesn't help either. I'm pretty nervous about this pregnancy because of all the chemo & radiation I completed in February...worried about any implications for :

hopefully the early, 6 weekish ultrasound puts our minds to rest....

happy vibes to all of you ladies :

cheers,
charlene

I'm not calling it cranky but a no-tolerance policy for BS. People need to shape up or ship out of my way!!

: 80 degrees with 80% humidity doesn't help either.

I'd take the heat and humidity over the nonstop rain we've been getting. UGHHHHHH. I'm not only cranky, I'm getting really depressed.
^Ditto. Too much rain and too many hormones have made for some interesting moods this week. Ugh. At least today and tomorrow are supposed to be warmer, yay!

I'm definately in the "not taking any BS" mode right now. DH is already harrassing me about my eating, but I'm not in the mood. I always leave food on my plate, I dont even notice that I do it, and it doesnt matter what size portion he gives, I always leave some. I've been eating two eggs for breakfast (which he cooks everyday) and because he commented on me not eating all my (protein) eggs yesterday, I asked him to just make one. He sighed, but did it. Then, when DS was finished and started climbing out of his high chair, I got up and took him away from the table... without finishing my egg. He said something about it and SNAP! I went off on him, telling him he could try eating cold food everyday because DS has needs too, which I take care of first at the dinner table. Then I told him to *f off and quit nit picking. lol. I usually let things slide. He is ALWAYS nit pickig, and I usually ignore it, because I know he does it because he is not happy with himself. But now, he can p*ss right off

What to do with a rude downstairs neighbor? I keep the children from running around until after 9am (even when they are up at 5:30 or 6am), their bedtime is 8:30pm. Yet at 12:45 in the afternoon this person comes to complain about my "louda$%# kids". They're NOT jumping or stomping, and we have lived under people with multiple children before so it's not like I don't know what it's like. My blood is boiling right now! This is the 5th time she's come up here. I'm NOT omnipresent, and I have done what I said I would, namely, keep them from running before 9am and after10pm. We go out once a day if the weather is nice. I have been nice about it the last three times she was rude, even to my mother-in-law, but honestly, for the last couple hours I have taken every opportunity to bang furniture around.

So yeah I guess I'm cranky, but I also just want to lay in bed and cry about how unfair life is.

OH YES. I have been sending Super Rage-ful Fiery Preggo Fury Beams with my eyes at all who dare cross me.

You should try it with your neighbor, Alicia.

my poor students! i'm the librarian so i have ample opportunity to spread my crankiness to grades K-8. one 7th grader even said, "ms. ___ why are you being so cranky?" oh, dear.
whoabethy Librarian? Really? Me too (and technology teacher). Of course I've been pink slipped for the second time in two years... *sigh* Time to get certified in a standardized test subject if I want any job security.

(But a la Scarlett O'Hara, I'm not going to think about that now. It will make me cranky. )

petit_bleuet i started off teaching science, so if push comes to shove (which it might) i can always go back to that. we'll see. i mean everyone knows that kids don't need to read anyway. they can just go home and play video games.
