No bleach or vinegar for bamboo?

I just started using some of the new Drybees Bamboo fitteds - which I love, btw - but the packaging explicitly said not to use bleach or vinegar. Anyone know why that would be?

I have a HE washer and my diapers NEED vinegar and an occasion splash of bleach to keep ammonia under control.

I have used both bleach and vinegar on bamboo (bamboozles) without and damage.
