What kind of crowd do you think this would attract?

I'm thinking of starting a Little House on the Prairie book club locally on a local meetup site. We would be reading one book a month and meeting at Borders to discuss. What kind of crowd do you think this would attract? My friend is telling me that it would be an ultra conservative crowd, which would make me a little uncomfortable. What do you all think? I just got back into watching the shows and realized I've never read more than the first book.

You may get someone like me who loved reading the books as a child and would love to discuss them from an adult perspective.

Or someone like me who loves the idea of the prairie lifestyle.

Keep me posted...

Well you would attract me and I am about as progressive or liberal or whatever you want to call it as it gets. As in, left of Obama. I was read to by my parents and older sisters and the Little House books were among our favorites. So I associate them with pleasant memories, and I still love them, love the illustrations, everything. The fact that many conservatives value them too just proves once again to me that there is in fact some common ground between me and some very conservative people--something I find amusing.
