When Travis was born Kincaid was 3 1/2 and Janelle was almost 5. He got both a rosy cheeks north american bear company doll and got Kincaid a stroller and Janelle a sling for the dolls... This was a great gift for Kincaid (all of it, the sling as well) but Janelle has never been a doll kid, so she only played with it a couple times.
When River was born Travis was (is) 20 months old, Kincaid 5 years and Janelle 6 1/2. He got Travis a little kiddie lap top...dh had to work at home the last few months while I was on bedrest, and Travis REALLY fell in love with dh's lap top, he got Janelle a polaroid digital camera(target had these 75% off so they were $56...had it not been for that she would of got the same camera, but 5 megapixel, which is regularly $60) and Kincaid a kiddie digital camera. Since we knew we'd be taking a million pictures we thought they'd like to as well...the LOVE these!

Not a big enough deal for me to cause a family fight over it, but it bugs me!
When DD1 came in to see the baby for the first time, we had the gift ready for her to open. She was too busy being mesmerized by her baby sister to open the present at first.
