We hit 1500 grams last night and today when I went to visit, I found they had raised the lid of the giraffe bed. So, she's in an open crib, working on maintaing her body weight.
Last night she took her first bottle. I got to feed her one today and that was wonderful.
It was nice to have some good news.
The last ultrasound showed swelling- IVH- she's crossed over to a grade 3 bleed because the drainage tubes have been blocked. Not sure if it's completely blocked, partially... what. Still haven't seen the US and the neurologists have still not come to meet with us. Which means that they're not seeing this as a crisis, but still hard to endure.
If you pray, please pray for Lilah's head- for no further bleeding and complete healing of the blockage.
Anyway- we're trying to keep a positive outlook, continue kangaroo care and just visit her as much as we can. Which is usually twice a day. I mean, what else can you do, you know?
