Diaper Washing Question

Dawn to wash diapers is only the regular, or is ultra Dawn fine?

Also, I noticed that the more I wash my diapers the more it smells.

1. I do a cold quick wash, 2. A long hot wash with Country Save and double rinse, 3. An only hot wash with no soap. The diapers smell stronger after the last wash, more than after the second one. I don't usually have bubbles in the last wash. In the morning his diapers will sometimes smell bad, other times not.

It isn't a bad smell, but they definitely don't smell fresh. I have some PF, and Loveybums fitteds. Some of the Loveybums are brand new, and after 2 uses already smell. What's wrong with my washing routine? The 1 DE I have, is the only one that doesn't smell.

P.S. My regular clothing doesn't smell like this when coming out of the wash.

I would do an extra HOT wash with a small load and no detergent/soap and see if you get bubbles...

Are you using any rash cream? Rash cream that has vitamin E oil or fish oils will make all the diaper laundry stink.

When I put coconut oil I use a liner.
