I just found these books, and they look really interesting. Anyone use them?

i just saw those the other day too. i think the program "beautiful feet" uses them? if not, another program similar to that does. they look great!

oh, it's NOEO science that uses them in their biology program. not that you care, lol...it was just driving me crazy trying to remember. i think they look wonderful too!

I'm pretty sure Heart of Dakota uses some of them, too. I looked for my HoD brochure today, but it had wandered away.

I think we first read about "One small square" years and years ago in a Chinaberry review...anyway, we put the idea to use, and do the "one small square" investigations on a few different parts of our land. It's so easy to do...just pick a place, get a journal, a pencil, and a magnifying glass, and start writing. Even if the square is (as is so often the case up here) covered in snow, you can still write if you find tracks, or scat, or dead leaves, or even exhaust residue on your "square."

Awesome idea and easy to implement.

Yes. I just ordered some from Amazon. They have a 4-for-3 special going on, so I ordered 8! :

They came in the mail today! : I've flipped through a few, and they look great. I know that my nature-loving dd will enjoy them. Hopefully ds will get into them, too.

I just heard about these too. They look very interesting. Perhaps we are all part of the same group locally. I heard of it through my local group.
