Movie: Following Sean (currently on Netflix Watch Instantly)

I just watched this, a film that begins with interviews of a 4-year-old boy living in the Haight in the 60's, and transitions into modern interviews with the grown boy in his 30s.

I really enjoyed this and was wondering if anyone else has seen it and what you thought?

I saw it a couple of years ago on PBS. I thought it was an interesting movie. It showed a lot of alternative lifestyle options, some of which I thought were great and others of which I'm not generally in favor of. I do think that in many ways Sean's potential was limited by his upbringing.

Personally, I also found it interesting to see what happened to the 'back to the land' hippies and why they eventually abandoned the lifestyle. I've always been interested in a more organic, homesteading, back to the land kind of life, and it's interesting to hear from those who tried it and abandoned it because it was too much work.
