The plan right now is to tell everyone at Alice's 3rd birthday in august by giving her a 'big sister' shrit at the family party.
We figured with a loss we should wait, we didn't get a lot of support from the first loss and figured it would be a lot easier this way in case something does happen.

I like that...just not say anything! Maybe we'll get DD to wear one...well, we have to tell her and DS first. How long to wait...that's the question right now.

We wrote out "mom is going to have a baby" on poster board, cut it up into puzzle pieces, and gave them to the kids this weekend to put together. We took a video of them while they were doing it to get their reaction. That was fun~ my oldest son is such a LOGICAL MAN~ his reaction was "Great mom, now we have to get a new car!"
![]() Everyone was excited though. Our 2 year old daughter keeps asking "baby in tummy mommy?" She is so cute.I uploaded the video and emailed it out to all our family and friends to tell them. My mom is excited. ![]() How are you going to tell your friends & family? Any fun ways? |

cute!
last time i was pregnant, we told the kids by drawing a family picture while they watched. they love to watch us draw. then my husband said, "wait! we forgot someone!" and he added a baby to my belly. they loved it.
however, we lost that baby, so we're trying to decide how/when to tell the kids about this one. they're asking for a new baby on a weekly basis, so i know they'll be happy, whenever we decide to tell.
for my second baby, we made a t-shirt for my toddler that said "big sister." it was fun watching everyone figure it out, slowly. my father-in-law took the longest! now we just call the grandparents and break it over the phone. quicker that way.
