Need help with a survey

Thread Starter
I was randomly chosen by our state department of health to participate in a survey regarding health during pregnancy and infant health. It was a pretty extensive survey, but it only had 6 questions about breastfeeding. It does however ask for participants to include any additional information we would like. I am wanting to write about breastfeeding support for pregnant women and new mothers, including the need for education, lactation consultants, no formula diaper bags, nurses offering formula at the hospital, etc.

I don't know that it will make any difference at all, but I would like to take advantage of this oppurtunity to make my voice heard. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Did you obstetrician talk with you about breastfeeding while you were pregnant? One of the biggest things that encourages breastfeeding is if their ob talks with them about bf around 5-6 months about the benefits of breastfeeding and risks of formula. I'd include something about telling ob's to discuss the topic at the five month visit. It can be a 3 minute thing that includes a handout on local resources. What do you think?
