Who is hoping to get sprinkled with moon dust this weekend?

Do you think there is anything truly about the full moon to get these babies going? Anybody planning to dance naked by the light of the moon in hopes of getting babe to come out and play?

I wouldn't mind a baby this w/end at all, but no dancing for me and definitely no dancing in the buff!

We've had some wicked weather fronts coming through here, too. If between that and the moon and another chiro appt. Fri. morning don't do anything, I think he'll be staying put for a while longer!

I would not be mad at all! Come on full moon!

I don't know about dancing nude either..The police station is like across the street...lol And I'm a really crummy dancer anyways..lol

oohh oohh Meeeeeee!!!!!

My mom is coming this weekend with my sister and I really really want her here for the birth. I have been talking to baby bug telling her this is the weekend for her to be born. I've got some changes going on down there and well come Fri I think I'm going to start some at home things to try and shake things up a bit. See if I can get things going. I don't want to evict her if shes not ready but I figure the at home things won't work if body and babe aren't truly ready ya know. So it can't hurt.

Plus with the house going on the market next month I really want some extra time to recover before it all begins...

Not sure about dancing beneath the moon nake though. Too many neighbors!

Oh! And it's mothers day weekend, too!!! It's a PERFECT time for babies! Come on May babies!!! Come on out and play! We'll bribe you with lots of nummy milk and cuddles!!!

(Yes, I did resort to this when I went overdue with my others. Bribery. It didn't seem to make them come any faster, but I was not above bribery at all at that point! )

No naked dancing for me either, but I'm hoping the full moon helps things along! In my last DDC there were an overwhelming number of births within the few days around the full moon, so, anecdotally, there are sometimes more births then, so here's hoping it works for all of us!

*raises hand*

I always said that I'd have this baby around May 10th so we shall see. I never in a million years thought I would say this but I'm ready to be done. I'm ready to be able to do things around my house and take care of my toddler without being in excruciating pelvic pain. I just want to reach the light at the end of the tunnel at this point and move forward, but I still feel like I'm going to be pregnant forever. I don't think my neighbors would appreciate me dancing naked in the moon light, though

Noooo naked dancing for me either (! hadn't even heard of that one!) but I am definitely hoping that whatever it is about the full moon will send me into labor Friday or Saturday. Here's hoping. I haven't even lost a mucus plug yet at 40w3days.

If it's not raining tomorrow, I'm seriously considering going to the state park nearby and taking a long walk. I am kinda scared though I'll get too far from my car and not make it back though..lol But maybe the fresh air and the exercise will get things moving.

If I thought it would help - I would probably try it.

I've always been so sensitive to the full moon. Anything I'm feeling I'd feel more intensely during this time. So, is this a good thing? Feeling the emotions of labor more intensely?! I don't know.

But yes, a full moon baby sounds great. I'll join you!

Im in, i have said she would come on the full moon all along. Had some leakage and crazy lower back/hip pain today. No mucus but never had that with DD. I am sooooo ready. Come out come out.

If someone told me that, in order for this baby to come out, I just had to dance naked under the full moon, I'd be stripping as the sun was setting, ready to go!

For some reason May 9th has stood out in my mind this whole pregnancy. It wasn't until later that I found out it was also the full moon. I'd be so stoked to have my baby in arms for Mother's Day! What a great way to celebrate being a mother?!

I never thought I'd say this either, but I just hope its not tonight! I was up from 3am on last night and feel like I'm going to die of exhaustion right now, so please baby, not tonight.

Ooooo....so tempting! We have a truly beautiful nature trail/reserve nearby our house, I think it would be awesome to dance under the full moon with full belly exposure. A.k.a. indecent exposure...If only I were at my mom's house and could make use of the backyard. Or if I were at my grandfather's house I could be skinny dipping in the pool under the full moon. Oh, I'm sad I'm not in California right now...

Sidenote: My husband's reaction to hearing that its a full moon is "You're not helping my stress level right now." He's hoping the baby stays in until Monday.

I mentioned to my OB that there is a full moon this weekend and she said she was glad she was not on-call . . . so there must be a little something to it if she didn't want to be there in the rush!

Hoping... I'm due on Friday and am looking forward to more progress. I did lose some mucus yesterday morning, but no other signs.

Our back yard is pretty private so I could totally dance naked under the light of the moon...but not gonna happen! Am sure DH wouldnn't mind one little bit, though.

We tried to help things along last night. Oy. Sex is not fun any more. Ouchie ouchie ow. I told him just enjoy it and do not worry about me b/c there was no way I was going to be feeling good and enjoying anything. Poor thing. Not his fault and not for lack of trying.

I don't live in a private neighborhood AT ALL... but my neighbors are generally drunk on the weekends so they probably wouldn't notice my naked dancing anyway!

I've been having contractions and cramping on and off all week, I lost a huge chunk of mucus plug, my babe has dropped way down.... now I just feel like I'm waiting....... I've had a feeling about this full moon for months, although May 13th has also stuck out in my head for some reason.

My sister is leaving on Sunday, and I would love for her to meet her niece before she leaves. DH has had a feeling about this weekend too... but I'm not allowing myself to get too excited about anything!

ETA: my due date was originally supposed to be yesterday, so it's awful hard not to feel like ANY time now would be great!

Well, I looked to see when I possibly conceived and it was supposedly about the time of the full moon so if the saying is true about birthing about the same moon phase you conceive then LO would be on schedule and a wk early!! Not sure that I will dance in the buff by the light of the full moon but certainly would not mind if LO took note of the cold front coming in, full moon, and Mother's Day all here starting supposedly today and continuing for a few days.

My Mom does think I have dropped a little more and so do I so we shall see. We do not have a boy name selected yet. DH said this wked but will I make it?

Oh, DH leaves me this morning until Sat. morning to go out of state. He is a bit of a stressor to me regarding birth bc he has done no research and is not a hands on person when in labor so if he arrived right at the end when he is returning that might be peachy.

I wouldn't hate to have a baby this weekend, but I never seem to conceive or birth near the full moon.

I just checked and it looks like I conceived closest to the full moon last August. But I don't know conception dates for sure, so we'll see.
