Public Health Dept. propaganda?

My unvaxed child is in preschool. The previous daycare center we used never had an issue with my local Mom's against Mandatory Vaccinations forms.

The new center however, tried to get me to fill out one that was written by the local health dept. The form also says that they (local health dept)will either approve or deny the waiver (even though our state has all 3 exemptions) it also says that waivers should not be encouraged.

And it wants a copy forwarded to them so they can approve or deny it. Aargh!

I simply filled out the MOMS form again and gave it to them. I don't think they can send my waiver form to the local health dept. can they?

Depends on your state laws. Here in Ky, the h.d. needs to sign off & they don't like to (in my experience). But if you stand your ground, they have to....

Check the wordings of your state law. Usually you can find the exemption forms in a pdf file on the state education website if you dig around for it.

Each state is different. You might want to check out your state, here is a site that connects you to each state's exemptions -
