Chart experts...possible FF has my o date wrong?

I am one day late. FF says I o'd on cd12. I've been relying on FF so long, I no longer remember exactly how o is calculated. Usually I get the dotted line crosshairs, but these are solid.

However, the one time we bd this month before ovulation we definitely used a condom and, as far as I know, there was no failure/break. So it seems really unlikely that I am pg. So I'm thinking maybe they just have my o date a day or two early, and I'm not really late yet.

Please give me the benefit of your expertise!

I *desperately* want another baby, but my dh is another story. We had a condom break in December and I was pg until I miscarried in Feb. He was not happy to be pg. If I am pg he is going to think I am poking durn holes in the condoms!

I just signed up for a trial of ovusoft, thinking maybe it would calculate my o date differently (idk...it just doesn't look like that clear a temp shift to me). It is also calculating ovulation at cd12.

<sigh> I guess I need to get a test.

hope the test turns out the way you want to did you set the ovusoft to temp only maybe it will catch something FF didn't

Hmm, not sure...what do you mean? I've never used the ovusoft before!

I do very much want a baby. So badly I don't really care if it's the wrong time. But with three losses under my belt, an apathetic dh, and a likely upcoming deployment (uh, did I mention a deployment? ), there are a lot of emotions along with the possibility of pregnancy at this moment.

Of course, maybe I shouldn't have been praying for a baby.

When you open the s/w. Go to Edit, Preferences, click the tab that says Calculations, click on the little locl so it's un locked then right below that its Calculation options and a drop down and select temp only if it's not already selected.

I guess I could just wait 3 more days. If I have 18 days of temps above the coverline, that means pg, right?

Yeah 18temps above cl is almost always meaning your pregnant.

It looks to me like FF calculated your O date perfectly...

I think there's a possibility you o'd later. Only having one other month to go off I could definitely be wrong - but your coverline for March cycle was 0.2 higher. I think the extra low temp on CD9 this cycle *may* have shifted your coverline down this month, and if you disregard that one temp, it's possible yo O'd more like CD17, which would mean you're only about 10 DPO? And then AF wouldn't be due for anouther 4 days-ish?

It is possible you Oed at cd 17. Can you think of any reason you temps may have been a bit higher leading up to CD 17? Extra blanket? Night wakings? Sickness?

But... especially with the timing of the EWCM, I think FF looks like it is probably right.

Why aren't you peeing on a stick right now?

I was totally in denial about the possibility until this afternoon. I have a dear friend who has been "with" me through three pregnancies. I had lefter her a message last night right before I went to bed. When she called me back this morning, the first thing she said was, "Are you pregnant??" ::shock:: I get very breathless early in pregnancy, and she was shocked to hear how breathless I sounded on my message!

But..that condom! Of course, no one inspected it after, but you'd think it'd be obvious if there was a...malfunction!

So...now that I am realizing the possibility, I would totally poas...if I had an s to p on. I would go get one...if I didn't have a bum ankle, two sick boys, and a dh who left this evening to drive 3 hours away to see his dad who had heart surgery this morning! Pretty good reasons, right?

I can probably sneak off to get one tomorrow, though. If I can get a same-day appt. about my ankle, my mom will come watch the boys, and I can slip over to the convenience store. Oh, that is if they don't test me at the clinic! They may do! Especially if they want to do an x-ray and I tell them I may be preggers.

Yikes! I *don't* want to get excited!

my dbf is deployed currently, coming home for his R&R next weekend and we're praying my o is a few days late so we have any chance at all of me getting pg.

he wouldn't be here for any of the pregnancy, or the birth... but neither of us honestly care. we want a baby SO bad.

the count gives you a 15 day LP, that is pretty normal. glad you got what it seemed was best at the time.
