Diaper bag suggestions

Hi ladies!

I'm almost due with #3 and I have been looking for a diaper bag, but i'm not really into these "baby patterns" I lean more towards the earthy tone side
Anyhow, does anyone have a good pattern they want to share? I don't want a very big one, just enough for some cloth diapers and a change of clothes.
I have a pattern for a messanger bag, I was thinking that might just do it, what do you think?

Thanks again Have a beautiful day!

I'm clueless as to what makes a good diaper bag...

I've been tempted to make the multi-tasker tote by anna maria horner. You may like that one.

This what I made for Dylan: http://www.myvintagecrafts.com/quilting/js2427.htm It held enough to last through an outing--6 prefold or fitted diapers (usually a combo because the prefolds could be used as a changing pad or a burp cloth), 1-2 plastic pants, plastic bag for used diapers, wipes, and one change of newborn clothes. My driver's license, money, and keys went into my jeans pockets.

When he was 2, I made a larger one out of denim to hold his clothes and extra underpants in at dc so he could feel like a big boy instead of a baby.

I've absolutely adore the Double Duty Diaper bag by sew baby.

It's super easy to sew, super cute and has a tons of pockets to hold lots of stuff. I've made a couple for gifts and I've also made myself one to use as a knitting bag.

You need to be able to open and close it one-handed. Also, when it's closed it needs to be able to be knocked over without anything falling out.

I second this suggestion. I am loving this bag! I did add snap to it to keep everything in.

ETA: I also really like the changing pad pattern that comes with it.

Can't wait to see your finished bag. You can add a snap or velcro to use as a closure or a really pretty ribbon coming off the top on both sides to hold the top closed. It's pretty deep so I've never had trouble with stuff falling out. Check the strap length, before you sew them on in case you're short because they are pretty long, but nice for throwing the bag over your shoulder.
Oh, I almost forgot. My JA's carries Sewbaby patterns and you can use coupons for them. I think I paid about $5 with tax for my pattern
