if you got to schedule a u/s what week would you do it?

I get to schedule an early u/s for "dating." I know when I ovulated and it's later than CD14 so they want a u/s to confirm. I'm 5w 3d right now and I know I can't find time next week. So I can shoot for 7w exactly, or 7w 6d through 8w 3d. I've read that a good u/s at 8 weeks means your chance of m/c drops to 2-3%

If you were in my position when would you want it done? I'm leaning toward any day in the week from 7w 6d-8w 3d.... because then we could really breathe easier, but then again I have a chance to see the little bean sooner.....

I guess I would go for 8 weeks then.

I would go for 8wks at the earliest unless there is a problem you are concerned about.

I would wait until 8 weeks unless you have a history of m/c or ectopic that you would like to see something earlier.

I like to have one closer to six weeks, perhaps nearer seven. I find it VERY accurate for dating purposes. I am hoping to have one next week.

The appointment went great!

I think we're going to have to wait until 8 weeks! DH and I looked at our schedules last night and it's the only time he can go; we both really want him to be there unless of course something happens over the weekend, in that case all bets are off.
