Wetbags - Best and Sources?

As I progress down the road to stocking my diaper stash, I am realizing that I have not run across a whole lot of consistent information about wetbags. I ordered a drawstring bag by Bummis but it doesn't give me a safe and secure feeling for taking with me in the diaper bag for when we go out.

So, what do you use for when and why?
What holds in the leaks when you're on the go?
Where are the best deals?

I'm not really looking for something "fashionable" but it would be nice if the wetbag wasn't ugly...

Thanks, Mamas and Papas!

I personally like the ones that have zipper closures. I find the drawstring closures tough and don't work well as time progresses. The zipper bags keep the smell in there so your whole diaper bag doesn't smell like dirty diapers which is also a plus. My mom makes them for my site, but I also like the wahmies wet bags. Both come in cute patterns.

Michelle of http://hyenacart.com/SMJAE/ has been making wet bags for a very long time in the WAHM world. She makes a quality product and has superior service and is well respected for both. I think she may be on vacation this week. But I am sure she could provide you with a product you are looking for.
She just had a whole bunch she donated last week for our charity that is now over.

The Planet Wise and Wahmies zipper closures are also great. We've had no issues with those.

I agree with pps--zipper wet bags all the way. I use mine for diapers, but also for swimsuits and towels. I have NappSacks, Happy Tushies, and Planet Wise. I think they're interchangeable. All still great. I wash with my dipes. My favorite one is from Happy Tushies... it has two sides. I separate my natural fiber diapers from my fuzzi bunz, 'cause I like to wash the fuzzi bunz by themselves to prevent pilling.

I always preferred having a zippered bag!! I love the happy tushies ones -- lots of fun fabrics to choose from!

I love zipper wet bags. They're great for diapers, of course, but we use them all the time for wet swimsuits, too.

Happy Tushies and Wahmies make great zipper wetbags in fun prints. Mommys Touch makes a solid PUL wetbag, too.

Thanks for all the suggestions, Mamas! I think I know what we will do... Of course, DH has to choose the fabric with me, so he doesn't break out into hives from handling something too "girly!"

Feeding off of this question: What size is most convenient for outings or a babysitter? I have a hard time visualizing how many diapers would fit into the different sizes. (Please forgive all my ignorant beginner questions!)

I have 2 sizes. A small one that hold one clean diaper in my purse, for a grocery run, etc. If I need to change a diaper, I put the clean one on, and the dirty in the bag.

A medium (about 12" x 15" maybe?) that will hold up to 3 diapers. That one I use for any trip longer than an hour. I have 2 or those so if one is in the wash, etc. I also use it sometimes for wet swimsuits, etc.

I sew all my own.

I have both Wahmies and Monkey Foot Designs web bags. I like the medium size Wahmies for out and about. But I LOVE the MOnkey Foot Designs wet bags. They are thicker PUL and cotton compare to Wahmies... love the prints... and love the strap that can be hung around my door, diaper changing table and on a hook. I use two X-large sizes for storing 2 days worth of laundry.

Do you all recommend a zipper pail liner at home (is there such a thing) as well - all the ones I've seen are drawstring, but if zippers contain smell better, I'm all for it! If you do - got any links?
