Whoa- Anyone still watching Bones?

Last night's episode was really lame I thought until they got to WHY Booth was seeing Stewie I didn't see it coming! I just thought the writers were really sucking.

And then the previews for next week....

Angela and Hodgens better get back together.

Same here. I was REALLY annoyed with the Stewie thing until it became the brain tumor thing. I was like, WTF, that's not like this show!!

The previews for next week... way to spoil any suspense of Booth going into that operation. Apparently he's back on DUTY shortly after brain surgery.

And I think the shot in bed is a fake out. A dream or part of their cover. Why would they show that??

I'm thinking maybe next week is like a dream of Booth's while he is under or something???

yeah i thought the stewie thing was weird too. then i was like WTH!!!!!

and the booth/bones baby thing is weird too. i dont know how i feel about that yet. i think the bedroom scene is a fake out too.

i love this show, but i didn't see the previews, maybe i'm glad :-)

As soon as I saw Stewie, I said to my partner: "First Luc Robitaille, now Stewie, he must have a brain tumour or something." I dind't expect it to happen so fast.

I love Angela and Hodgins.

Actually according to interviews with Emily Deschanal, Booth and Bones are supposed to have sex with each other and I think for the baby reason. A way for them to get their leads together but also not be together.

I read that too, but I also read that there is a twist to it.

I guess we will find out tonight! I can't wait!!

I think my heart just broke :

I'm so, so disappointed with the finale. Normally there are a bunch of laughs in each episode, but the only thing I found funny was Sweets' Gormagon speech--and only because it was so contrived.

I don't get why they can have so many great episodes but blow the finales.. last year's was wretched, too.

I liked what Brennan was writing and how we got some insight into her thoughts re: Booth, but the whole coma/hallucination thing was just boring, and the "Who are you?" bit just seemed.. done.

Ugh. I'm normally quite forgiving with Bones since it's my favorite show by far, but this was just horrible.

Wait, what happened at the very end? I got as far as Booth waking up and then my DVR crapped out :
yeah the whole coma dream thing was pretty boring... Lisa, bootth woke up, and bones told him the surgery went fine, but he reacted to the anesthetic and had been in a coma for 4 days. he looked at her and said "who are you?"

i really didnt like this finale, and i usually love bones

then again, i didnt like that they went down shooting again on csi new york. every show did that to some extent last season, and its getting old.

Grrrrr.... mine too!

Wow what a totally lame episode.

This was possibly the dumbest episode of any show ever. Uck.

K, I'm assuming people are only reading if they've seen the finale .

LOL I kinda liked it! Once I figured out what the heck the premise was, I thought it was a fun funky episode. Kinda like Whedon alt-reality episodes. The Gormagon thing cracked me up (and great singing!), but so did all of the ties to the reality. A lot of it was all over the place, but I thought it was fun to see some of the characters in their alternative roles. And Zach! I think they just wanted to have fun with their show.

I can't believe the sex wasn't real (ya know what I mean), because they kept insisting they'd be in bed together by the finale, and it wouldn't be a dream or fake-out. And it totally was! Splitting hairs.

The "who are you?" was so soap opera. And hitting delete and it's all gone? So cheesy. But overall I was mostly just upset we have to wait to find out what happens.

I thought the episode was funny, but.... NOT FOR THE SEASON FINALE! I just started watching this show this season, have been getting caught up on reruns during the week. I like the show, but was really disappointed with this one. The whole time I kept thinking "when is he going to wake up so the real episode can start?".

i agree that something else for a season finale would have felt better but i think they were trying to answer a lot of the questions/tension built up this season in an indirect way - how folks feel, who they should be with, etc. - rather than smacking us all in the face with it all.

I know!! I was really hoping it wasn't the season finale, as I just DVR a lot and get kinda lost as to where we are in the season. I love Bones and liked the episode a lot but as a finale episode, no way.

Me too! : You know, I have just been so disappointed with most of the season finales this season. Many of them have just not been as climactic as I would expect.

The only good one, IMO, was LOST.
