Yeah... the season finales this year have been bleh. House was OK and my TIVO cut off the last couple minutes of Bones, lol. I had to watch it on Hulu.

Seeley is HOT tho, lol...

LOL I kinda liked it! Once I figured out what the heck the premise was, I thought it was a fun funky episode. Kinda like Whedon alt-reality episodes. The Gormagon thing cracked me up (and great singing!), but so did all of the ties to the reality. A lot of it was all over the place, but I thought it was fun to see some of the characters in their alternative roles. And Zach! I think they just wanted to have fun with their show.

I can't believe the sex wasn't real (ya know what I mean), because they kept insisting they'd be in bed together by the finale, and it wouldn't be a dream or fake-out. And it totally was! Splitting hairs.

The "who are you?" was so soap opera. And hitting delete and it's all gone? So cheesy. But overall I was mostly just upset we have to wait to find out what happens.
That's what it reminded me of, too. Like Dopplegang-land or the Buffy episode where Angel had the ring that made him human again for a day but then Buffy forgot and he remembered.

And it was funny, because the previous week with him talking to Stewie (what was with Bones knowing who that was? Shouldn't she have said "I don't know what that means?"), I was thinking, "Well, he HAS played a puppet before, on Angel, so this isn't too crazy for him..."

The fact that he was seeing things all pulled together nicely, and surprised me. That was the only thing that actually played out over the season it seems. So Stewie, the dead friend when he was locked up on the ship, and who else did he see? I didn't catch it but it seemed there were three?

i thought the season finale was painfully disappointing!!! i sort of think they were really reaching with the whole booth seeing things bit culminating in a brain tumor.. mostly b/c bones saw his ghost friend to didnt she? at the very end of the grave digger episode.

and did he ask who she was at the end of the finale? i love bones and i really dont want to see the next season waste time on booth having no memory and all that!!

this!!!! and i also thought the sex was a cop out... and that the who are you crap was very soap opera. i sort of wonder if they forgot who their fans are you know? i dont know any bones fans who liked the season finale

I know, it's like all the aspects of the show that we LOVE it for were missing. I mean, I've put up with the ridiculous storylines this season, but the finale was just wrong.

That's a very good point. It's like the writers didn't have a long term plan for those other incidents. Weak.

Explains how we got lame ass "Zack serving Gormagon" finale last year. : I think this writing team lacks vision for the arc of a season. They just... do shit... and then figure out how to explain it.
