Are there any of these around? I still need help trying to figure out what things mean ( even with the diagrams) I'm doing an Amy Butler reversible swing bag and I am confused! wouldn't it be cool if you could pop in your dvd with an actual person doing every step with you... I can dream I know it would be expensive, but do you think more people would take up sewing then?

I know there are a few on youtube btw.

I find that blogs are a good source of 'how to ___' as well as places like Sew Mama Sew, Sewing Mamas and Pattern Review.

Is there anything we can help you with right now while you are making this bag?

Pattern review has 33 reviews of this pattern which might shed some light on your problems with it. I thin you need to register to view them but it is free and worth it!

I use expert village and youtube a lot!

I suggest you try typing "sewing lessons" or "on-line sewing classes". There are several places that offer on-line classes & some of them have DVD's they sell that do have someone showing you how to do it.
Just what is your problem with the bag?

Thanks everyone. I did find that review online, but I'm having trouble with step D:

Make a pleat at the end of the straps. I'm new to following a pattern, but does "machine baste" mean I sew on the right side of the fabric? Ive looked it up and still can't visualize what this means. Also it appears that my straps seem shorter than what the picture suggests, even though I cut it to size...:
