Hoping to stay here this time...

Thread Starter
I was on the Nov DDC and mc 5 weeks ago, wasnt trying and inbetween have gotten pregnant again. Somewhat funny given that I had to do fertility treatment to get pregnant with my second. Anyway have done some initial bloodwork and here it goes.
12 days PO Hcg 100 Progesterone 20
14 days PO HCG 203 Progesterone 15

My RE wasnt totally bothered and said that there may be some variation due to reports being run by two different labs. I was hoping to get a bigger jump on both and worried about the progesterone. My Re started to supplement progesterone as a precaution and will retest on Monday. I am hoping for good news as this is my 6th pregnancy and I am hoping to have this one stick, I have one unexplained loss and two chromosomal. My RE also told me to stop breastfeeding my 17 month old immedialty. I havent done it and cant. I am just praying all will be okay. thanks for letting me vent.

Congratulations! I've nursed through at least 5 of my pregnancies. I don't think nursing in pregnancy can cause miscarriage but maybe it's a progesterone issue? IDK. But you're on a supplement now and those kick in pretty much immediatly. This pregnancy my HCG at 12dpo was 114 and at 14dpo was 272. Not much different than yours. I saw a heartbeat yesterday! Take it easy and try not to worry too much!!

Congratulations! I, too, was told to immediately stop BFing my 9 month old. Yeah! Right! I don't think so. I have nursed while pg before and never had a problem. Not to mention that I will not push my baby away that needs me for nutrition and comfort for the possiblity of a problem.

Welcome! I hope all goes well. There really are a lot of post-m/c mamas on this DDC, huh? We'll have to make sure we support each other well.
