Organic vs non organic milk

We use WIC to buy our milk and I've been buying organic whole milk...but it is super pasteurized and homogenized. It's what I can get....

....until today. I discovered pasteurized, non homogenized, but not organic milk (inexpensive too I might add - 1.99 for a gallon!) that is covered on our WIC.

I'm curious what choice you would make and why? Organic over-processed or slightly less processed non-organic?

I'm going to scout out the dairy's website and see if I can find out what their stance is on hormones and the like. It says on the label "nothing added, nothing removed" but I think that could be speaking of the milk once it's milked and not necessarily what they give their cows. Right?

BTW. The 'new' milk is from a local dairy. A bonus I think.

If there's no rBGH, I'd go with the slightly less processed non organic. Also, you might be able to find out what conditions the cows are kept in. Even organic milk cows are kept in horrid conditions usually. Plus with non homogenized milk, you can make your own butter and sour cream.

Thanks!

Going with the non organic for now as the farm seems to be a 'nicer' farm!

I like that it's local too.
