Hello Everyone. I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Nikki and I just found out this week that I was expecting. It was a Huge, Monstrous, Gigantic surprise!!!! My LMP was 8/21/07. You read correctly, 07. I have an 11 month old daughter whom I'm still nursing. I've started having monthly spotting since February, but nothing significant enough to where I would call it a full on period (it wouldn't last more than a day) But, apparently I have been ovulating. Anyhow, I'm extremely excited, the husband is still pretty shocked and confused, but I know he'll get on board soon. I'm guessing my due date is somewhere around the first week of Jan, but it could be sooner. I'll probably get an ultrasound in a couple of weeks to see what they say.
Hmmm lets see what else....I've started having quite a bit of nausea this week (this is actually what prompted me to take an HPT) This is brand new for me, since I had 0 morning sickness last time around, so not looking forward to that.
Last time around I had an awesome homebirth with a midwife that I absolutely love. I will definitely be going that route again, she was actually the first person I told, but I guess that's all for now. I look forward to getting to know you ladies and having an awesome 9 months.
