making wool....

Thread Starter
Ok, couple of questions here...
1-What's the difference between a wool soaker and a wool cover?
:
2-Has anyone made either of those before? (probably a silly question to ask here...: )

I recently aquired some old wool sweaters that I'd like to try and make some out of. Any suggestions? Especially about the edges.
I've recently started making my ds cloth diapers, and am TOTALLY hooked. (Is there a 12 step program for this somewhere?...ild
I'm so all about recycling things like this...
TIA-

My local thrift store has wool sweaters for only $2.00 so I am thinking of getting this pattern

I was also going to suggest the Fern and Faerie patterns as well!!!! Good luck. They are inexpensive to make as well. Have fun with it!

When I was asking about this I had posted this:

There was good suggestions on how to sew them together. As for the difference between soaker and cover. I don't there is a difference but I'm too a newbie. Perhaps a soaker is a pull on kind and a cover is the one where you can velcro on like a Bummi cover? Oh well. HA, HA I still have my thrift store sweaters intended for this project and still procrastinating. I better start before little one gets here in April! Kathryn
