Question about FB

Ok, I ordered 3 of the new style Fuzzi Bunz in small for my baby on the way. When they arrived, I thought they looked awfully big so I did some comparisons. They are HUGE! They are bigger than the OS Haute Pockets I have. I even tried them on my 34lb toddler and they fit!

Is that normal for these?? I tend to have big babies (9lbs+) so I was avoiding buying the XS. Should I get the XS anyway?? :

My dd was 8 lbs and needed the XS. She could not fit into the smalls until 7 weeks. She grew out of the smalls at 8 months and 16 lbs.

Very weird. I don't think they should fit a toddler...are they marked small? My 16 lb 7 mon old doesn't fit in smalls anymore. How are they when you stuff them...
Perhaps they are mis-sized

They are marked smalls. I sent a picture to the FB people but they just sent a form letter back saying that the sizing on the new style is bigger. THAT much bigger though?? lol

My first DS was 15lbs by 6 weeks though so maybe I should just hold on to them. I still think its insane how big they are though. I stuffed them and put them on my toddler and they snaped just fine. Not even on the biggest setting. :P

They are huge. I have the old style x-smalls which I LOVED, but they were outgrown at 5 weeks, and the new style smalls didn't fit yet. (He was about 13 pounds)

I only ordered smalls for my dd which are supposed to fit at 7 lbs. She weighed 7.5 lbs at birth and the small FB were huge! She was 10 lbs before she was able to wear them. I wish I had ordered some XS.

I don't have any smalls. But maybe you could measure the dimensions on these, and have somebody compare that to their smalls. Reason I mention it is because there seems to have been a batch of larges (in the old style FBs, a few years ago) marked large that were actually mediums, and I wound up getting a few. I had mediums, larges, and then these diapers that were the same size as my mediums but marked large.

So errors do happen. But I've also heard that the new FBs run really big.

I have old style smalls and they're a great fit on my newborn (not quite so new any more), so I agree with pp, worth measuring!
