What the heck?! Acne NOW?

I normally have some, but my face has been pretty clear this pregnancy. Now at almost 40 weeks, my face is breaking out in zits. What the heck?!

No way! I'm not taking anything as a symptom any more. I figure when my water breaks or I'm pushing, I will know that a baby will be out of me shortly.

I figure this is just the hormones ranging at the end...though the end will be between 0days to three weeks from now.

My skin has done fairly well too...But I broke out BAD this week. Big cyst acne on my cheek and one next to my mouth that burst and now it looks like a cold sore. :

The huge hormone surge is a good sign though, it means you don't have much further to go!

Yeah...I figure we're all pretty close, anyway, though. I go through stages of getting excited about signs...to totally blowing them off so that I don't get my hopes up.

I had a giant acne breakout the day I went into labor so I've been watching out for it this time around. I know what you mean about not wanting to get your hopes up though.

I've got it too. Same skin routine, same moisturizer, etc., all of a sudden hormonal breakouts around my nose and chin all week. Yet still, no baby

I don't remember it with my others, but that's neat. We'll see what happens.

Ive been having that problem the past few days too! I notice my skin has started breaking out again. I have also been havng mild contractions that go away after a while for a few days as well. Im not holding my breath about going into labor but I do take it as a positive sign that my body is gearing up, for now or for 20 days from now but you know... its doing something!

haha! I'd take it as some kind of symptom too! You're hormones are changing which means SOMETHING's going on. Goodness...this waiting is a crazy business.
