After over 24hours of laboring with an attempt at a home birth I was transfer to the hospital where Dart was born by emergency c section at 1:57 am may 8th. We are both doing fine we are still in the hospital but hope to go home tonight or tomorrow. I'll update soon with more.

I'm sorry your homebirth didn't work out the way you had planned. Don't forget that if you are upset about it, its okay to mourn it. It doesn't make you ungrateful for your healthy baby!

And CONGRATULATIONS on your healthy baby! Enjoy your babymoon! Can't wait to hear all about it!

Congrats! Welcome Dart! Rest up and recover. Take it real slow. I'm 10 days pp and just this weekend took a shower two days in a row . There are others of us who had unplanned c-sections and are sorting through the emotions of it, give a shout out if needed. I haven't cried about it in a few days now.
