Where to find non-toxic bath toys?

I have a 2 yr old and she only has wood, wool, silks, natural fibers, etc toys. That is all good, but when it comes to bath toys, you can't bring your hand carved bunny into the tub. My daughter always wanted a rubber duck, so I got her one, probably full of toxins. What do you do about natural tub toys, but that wont get ruined in the water? Is there such thing as a natural rubber duck?

Tub toys are tricky, aren't they!

We have a natural latex rubber duck

We use small metal bowls and wooden bowls/cups (like play kitchen size) for water play, pouring, etc

We have a number of cotton terry cloth hand puppets for the tub (wash cloth material - can be thrown in the washer)

We also have a couple wooden boats that we've had for over a year and they've lasted just fine. We have this one among others like it.

Another consideration with bath toys in addition to what it is made out of, is to avoid bath toys with holes. Water gets inside, it never fully dries, and then mold and bacteria grow and mix with the fresh bath water at every bath. So if you do find a natural rubber duck, make sure there is no hole (not a squirt toy).

My son has the tug boat and the star-shaped stacking toys from Green Toys, and we LOVE them.

An espresso pitcher (small, stainless steel, found it at a thrift store) was DD's favorite toy at that age. It's small and pours really well.
