What a beautiful little girl. I am amazed they didn't check you before give you the epidural. That seems really wrong. But you are right having your little girl becomes the most important part once they are here.

I'm sooo sorry you had to deal with so much hospital BS. That totally sucks.

But, you did it! Happy Mother's Day Mama!

Congrats on your little girl, she is beautiful! and wow look at the hair! my almsot 2yr old doesnt have that much yet! lol

Sorry you had that experiance at the hospital, not ALL of them are so bad about moving and such. Glad you got your baby and it does make it all worth it in the end for sure! I am putting that in my birth plan now though i've heard several stories like yours in the last few weeks, to get checked FIRST if i end up requesting an epidural.

Thank you!

I know, it seems really wrong to me too. You would think they know what they're doing , the sucky part is that I ended up feeling like I was the one that needed to request to be checked before they gave it to me.

At least Sophia is healthy and happy. So am I, being a mom is the most amazing thing in the world. How can there be so much love for such a little thing? I didnt even get tired after labor, I was so ecstatic. I ended up falling asleep like at 3AM.

Congratulations; she's gorgeous! I, too, am sorry about the hospital difficulties. It sure would be nice if they'd realize that continual fetal monitoring doesn't improve outcomes (rather the reverse) compared to just checking the heartbeat periodically, but that's not your fault at all, and it sounds like you handled the situation beautifully. Good job, mama!
