Wipes away from home?

I keep my wipes in a warmer with water at home. I'm using the sposies I got at my shower for outings now, but those are running low. Once I'm using cloth for outings, how should I prepare wipes?

I just keep dry wash cloths and use water from a sink to wet them with if it is needed. But you could also buy small bottles of wipe spray to carry in the diaper bag or make your own with a bit of tea tree oil added to water.

I carry dry wipes and a little squirt bottle of water, though usually I just wet in a sink wherever I am.

I take cloth wipes and run them under the tap. HOWEVER, there was one memorable occasion when the tap where I was wasn't working and sposie wipes saved my (baby's) a$$.

I took dry wipes with me in the bag and carried a spray bottle of water to wet them when needed. It worked well for us.

I almost always have a water bottle for myself. So I wet them with that.

There have, however, been several occasions when I piped up in the middle of a LLL meeting, etc, "can I borrow baby wipes from someone?" when I forgot to stock my bag with wipes.

Oops.

I just use the sink where I am.

I have a small wet bag just for wipes. I get them a little wet before I go somewhere, and throw them in the wipe bag.

I sometimes wet cloth wipes with a water bottle, but I never carry wet cloth wipes from the get go. I really, really hate the smell of any fabric that has been sitting wet for more than an hour or two.

We use disposable wipes when we're out and about. It amounts to a change or two per week, plus curry clean-ups.

when I get home I take the left over wiper out of the ziplock & let the bag dry for next time. You can also get really small wetbags for wipes if you dont want to use a ziplock.

& when we're out I only wipe for poop, for pee I just pop a new diaper on. Then I give DD's diaper area a good cleaning when we get home.
