Well guess I'll skip the conversation altogether... - Page 2

I've heard something simliar before sadly. I visited a girl I knew in the hospital, she changed her new sons diaper & announced to everyone in the room, "God, I can't wait until they get around to making this thing not so ugly!" then ranted that she couldn't believe they wouldn't circ until the the baby was going home instead of the first day he was born.

Cause ya know...that bloody stump is sooooooo much more attractive....and a baby looking like an erect normal man is so much sexier!

Why does no one see it as very creepy when a mother says she wants to circumcise because thats her preference, or even goes as far to say that is her sexual preference. Imagine if a father was talking about his daughters genitals and said "I wish she had bigger outer lips, thats more my sexual preference."

People would think he is a child rapist, but with boys its totally fine that a mother try and make her sons genitals look like what she would want in a sexual partner.

Perspective, I find it creepy. I've always found it creepy.

I find it unsettling that a person would cut a baby.

Exactly. It looks so...weird on a little boy. I've always thought that even before I was a stoic anti-circ kinda gal.

Due to the new forum guidlines I am closing this thread.

It is our wish that The Case Against Circumcision be an informative and welcoming space for those who are new to the subject of circumcision. This is not a space to bash others. In an effort to minimize language which might alienate those seeking information, we are cautious about using pejorative terms such as abuse, barbarism, mutilation, etc. when routinely discussing circumcision. Let the facts speak for themselves.
